Hans-joachim Marseille Product Description

Hans-Joachim Marseille was born in 1919 in Berlin. A rebellious by nature and with strong moral convictions, he never joined the Nazi party and was not a supporter of the war, but he knew he had to do his duty to his country.

In three years on the African front he achieved 158 victories, becoming a national idol: “The Star of Africa”. His fame was exploited by the Ministry of Propaganda.

He received many decorations and in 1942 he became the youngest captain in the Luftwaffe.

He was never killed in combat, he died in 1942 in a fatal accident on a routine flight.
