New Edition Slow Grow Pt 1
Monday 27th January 6:30pm
4 x 50min rounds
300pt good or evil force
Miniature 3'x 3'boards
Basic scenarios adapted from the rules manual to get in to the action quickly!
Happy New Year and Happy New Edition!
As the new edition has made a lot of our old armies non-legal, what better time to start a new army?
With that in mind, this will be the first of a 6 month series of slow grow events, with the intention that we all have a shiny new 800pt army in 6 months time! Starting at 300pts, we will be adding 100pts each month, and there will be prizes at the end of the slow-grow for those that have fully painted a new 800pt army.
This is a super-casual event aimed at getting new and returning players up to speed with the new edition, so go wild with that daft list idea you’ve been sat on. As it’s so new in the edition, there is no expectation to have your army fully painted for this event!
Prize support to be determined based on number of attendees.
Any legal good or evil 300pt force is OK to be used. Although there are no painting requirements - bare plastic is fine but WYSIWYG is requested. Please get in touch with me at
[email protected] if you need to check any aspects of your army's eligibility.
Scenarios will be taken from the Rules Manual and adapted for 3’x3’ boards, but don't worry if you don't have a copy of this – there will be plenty of copies around on the night.
Rounds will be 50 minutes, and to fit everything in we will be kicking off with registration from 6:30pm and will be using a dice down policy when time is called.
Schedule:
6:30 arrival & registration
6:55 round 1 pairing
